B4SI Global Director Briefing: TISFD Beta Framework Consultation
The Taskforce on Inequality and Social-related Financial Disclosures (TISFD) has launched a public consultation on the first draft of its Beta Framework, marking a significant development in how organisations understand, manage and disclose their social impacts.
This is an important moment for everyone working in social impact, sustainability, community investment and responsible business.
TISFD represents an ambitious effort to create a globally consistent framework for understanding how organisations impact and depend upon people and society, and how those relationships create risks and opportunities for long-term value creation.
Across the B4SI network, organisations have spent decades measuring, managing and creating social impact in practice. The consultation provides an opportunity to share those insights and help inform the next phase of development, including future metrics, targets and implementation guidance.
As a supporter of TISFD, B4SI welcomes this consultation and encourages organisations to engage with the process.
Our Global Director, Clodagh Connolly, shares reflections on why this milestone matters, including:
- What the TISFD framework is seeking to achieve
- Why the consultation is significant for practitioners
- The potential implications for how social impact is recognised, measured and valued
The consultation is open until 31 July 2026.
